Crypto Deposits: Check the Network, Fees and Minimum Before Sending

NeonBet · Published

A crypto transfer can succeed on a blockchain without being credited to your casino balance. The receiving service must support the exact asset and network, recognize the destination and receive an eligible amount. A transaction hash helps trace the payment; it does not guarantee recovery.

Before sending

Open the deposit page yourself through the verified website. Select the asset and network currently offered, then check the displayed minimum, confirmation requirement and any memo or tag. Do not infer network support from a coin logo or an address format.

Use the address currently assigned to your account. After pasting or scanning a QR code, verify the entire destination against the trusted deposit page, not just the first and last characters. Never send funds to an address supplied in an unsolicited message.

Calculate what will actually arrive

Separate the sender's withdrawal fee, the network fee and any receiving fee. Check which costs are deducted from the transfer and which are charged separately. For example, if 20 units are entered and a 2-unit fee is deducted, 18 arrive. That would be below a hypothetical 20-unit net minimum.

A test transfer is useful only if its net amount meets the actual minimum. It incurs its own fees and is not a requirement to deposit more. Never send another payment merely because someone says it will unlock an earlier one.

After sending: three different stages

An exchange can show an internal processing or completed status before the receiving service credits you. Check for a public transaction ID and inspect it on the correct network's explorer. Distinguish pending, failed and successful transactions, then compare confirmations with the receiver's requirement.

Fees, congestion, exchange review and receiver processing all affect timing. No network is always the cheapest or fastest. Stablecoins can also lose their peg; their name is not a guarantee of value.

Confirmed but still missing?

Compare asset, network, full address, memo, net amount and confirmations. Contact official support with the TXID, network, amount and sending time. Wrong-network recovery depends on the recipient's technical control and policy and may be impossible. Never share a seed phrase, private key, password or one-time code.

A sent transfer and a credited deposit are separate records

An exchange can mark a withdrawal completed when it has sent the transfer, while the receiving platform is still waiting for confirmations or checking eligibility. Save the TXID, selected asset and network, destination, amount received after fees and sending time. Check these against the current Wallet deposit instructions rather than an old screenshot.

A successful transaction on the wrong network does not prove the receiving service supports it. Similar-looking EVM addresses can exist on different networks. Do not bridge, resend or pay a supposed recovery agent before official support explains whether recovery is possible. Never provide a seed phrase, private key or login code.

If a deposit should have activated a promotion, payment confirmation and bonus enrolment are different questions. NeonBet's published bonus terms require selection of a deposit-match offer before confirmation and do not promise retroactive enrolment. Keep the campaign reference and ask about an unclear activation before transferring, not after placing bets.
